Our Process
Our process begins with a comprehensive assessment to determine your child’s needs. Performing standardized assessments will allow our speech/language pathologists and reading specialists to establish baselines in areas such as phonological processing, reading rate, accuracy and comprehension, spelling, mathematics and written expression. This will determine if there is a language-based learning disability such as dyslexia (reading disorder), dysgraphia (disorder of written expression) or dyscalculia (mathematics disorder).
Step 1
Get An Assessment
Family fills out an intake form to schedule the assessments. These assessments are used to identify specific academic needs and potentially diagnose a language-based learning disability.
Step 2
Schedule Consultation
After assessments are completed, a parent review is scheduled to discuss the outcome of the assessments and create an individualized education plan.
Step 3
Start Intervention Programs
Students will participate in evidence-based reading, auditory and language interventions based on their individual needs.
Step 4
Evaluate Progress
Reassessment is scheduled to check progress and review results.
